POeCC

In line with the Penang State Government emphasis on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the area of industrial development and digital creative content, Penang Development Corporation (PDC) has been working closely with many partners such as Multimedia Development Corporation, School of the Arts, Universiti Sains Malaysia and ITU-UUM Asia Pacific Center of Excellence for Rural ICT Development, Universiti Utara Malaysia have been organizing events on digital creative content since year 2008.

The overall objectives of POeCC are to encourage our citizens to be involved in the digital creative industry and also to expose and stimulate interests amongst school children, youth and multimedia amateurs to explore their digital creative content skills.

To ensure the series are professionally organized and carried out, a POeCC Committee was formed year 2007.
